Two of the most beautiful people (and the finest animals) I have ever had the opportunity to photograph. Thank you so much again for an incredible experience. We can’t wait to see you again!

I was so excited when Kate called me up and said she was getting married. Even more so when she said she wanted ME to photograph it! What!? A beautiful vineyard in New Zealand?? I’m there. Kate is a great friend of mine who I met while studying abroad in New Zealand. She is an amazing photographer and even more of an amazing person. When I finally got the chance to meet Matt last month I was not at all surprised at who Kate picked to spend the rest of her life with. Matt is the most adventurous guy and and an awesome arborist as well. These two are truly meant for each other.
I can’t think of a better way to have kicked off the wedding season for 2009….witnessing Kate and Matt exchange vows at the Karaka Point Vineyard on the North Island of New Zealand. Enjoy!

Matt’s delightful mom (mum) Julie requested some family pictures one last time before Matt and Kate tied the knot. Matt is the first one of the Dallas children to get married so it was only appropriate for a spontaneous photo session with all of them together! They are the most fun, genuine, and generous people you’ll ever meet. I don’t think Lance and I have ever eaten so good!
Thank you all again.

For the second part of our trip we were lucky enough to stay with Matt and Kate on the family farm for the wedding weekend. It was so beautiful! The first picture is the view Matt and Kate awake to every morning. They are nestled in the most beautiful valley.
Bride to be- Kate making fritters!
Groom to be- Matty Matt herding some cows!
Yep, it’s a Dairy Farm! We had fresh milk every morning for breakfast.
Another view from Kate and Matt’s dining area.
